5/11 Church Farmhouse

GV II

House, early C19. Timber framed and stuccoed, base walls of painted brick,
slate roof. Double pile plan, aspect approx. SE, 2 internal chimney stacks
symmetrically disposed. 2 storeys. Central 6-panel door in simple doorcase
with shallow hood, 2 double-hung sash windows of 16 lights, original. On first
floor, 2 similar windows and one of 12 lights, original. Some crown glass.
Symmetrical elevation. Hipped roof of shallow pitch, chimney shafts of gault
brick. Stucco marked to imitate stone blocks. Included for Group Value with
Parish Church, The Red Lion, and barn of Church Farm.
