Possibly former brewery of de molished Lambton Hall; now divided into 2 dwellings.
Probably early C17; greatly altered c.1884. Squared rubble, stone-flagged roof
and rebuilt buff-brick chimney stacks. T-plan: central gabled wing at right-
angles on rear of front range.

Long and low 2-storey, 4-bay front. Flush quoins. 9 restored openings on
ground floor: 2 replaced doors in chamfered Tudor-arched surrounds; 2-light
windows under 3-centred heads with chamfered centre mullion, arched lights and
replaced sashes; single glazed quatrefoils to left above each door. Identical
2-light windows in four c.1884 gabled half dormers. Steeply-pitched roof with
coped gables. Left end stack and 2 ridge stacks to right.

Chamfered-mullioned windows of 1+3+1-lights on both floors of right return.
2-storey gabled rear wing with replaced sashes.

C20 brick additions on rear are not of special interest.
