Farmhouse, now divided into 2 houses. C17-18, altered and raised in mid
C18, with later rear outshut and extension to right. Earlier section in
coursed limestone rubble with brick gables; later build in brick. Pantile
roof. Central entrance hall plan. 2 storeys with attic, 3 bays;
symmetrical. Brick plinth. Part-glazed panelled door with plain overlight
beneath stucco flat arch. 12-pane flush sashes with stucco flat arches and
cills. Two C20 dormers. End stacks. Interior: good mid C18 open well
staircase with closed string, moulded handrail and column-on-vase balusters
with square knops; rougilly-chamfered spine beams to ground floor, that to
left with cyma stops; fielded-panel doors.
