GV II

House. Early C19 with C20 roof. Grey brick, concrete tile roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance on left has flight of stone steps to Doric
surround with engaged columns supporting plain entablature with modillioned
cornice and flat hood; 6 beaded-panel door beneath moulded cornice and
radial fanlight in arched panelled reveal. 2 unequal sashes with glazing
bars to right beneath channelled stucco flat arches with raised fan-moulded
keys. 3 similar smaller unequal sashes to first floor. Stepped and
dentilled eaves cornice. Hipped roof. End stack to right. Interior: open
well staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail and plain balusters;
moulded plaster cornices to stairhall, ground floor and first floor front
rooms; panelled doors and window shutters to front rooms in beaded
architraves with floral decoration.
