Cottage dated 1681 (with M over I C in S gable), of coursed rubble with ashlar
dressings and banding in south gable. Collyweston stone slate roof with coped south
gable and moulded stone south end stack. One storey with basement and attic, one
window wide. Street (E) front has small basement window opening with moulded head
and hood-band, 2-light window with ovolo-moulded mullion above, and decorative
wrought iron tie end. South gable has later ground floor window, and 2 oval
lunettes above. Entrance to rear with 2-light mullioned window above and one gabled
dormer. Two low gabled outbuildings project from rear. All windows blocked 1983
except leaded casement opening in 2-light window to rear.
