House, C17 or C18 in origin, greatly extended C19 in Jacobean revival manner. Of
coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, Collyweston stone slate roof and moulded stone
end stacks. Of 2 storeys, main block and cross wings. Main block, 3 windows wide
and right hand cross wing with coped gable form the original house. Central
embattled porch flanked by 2-storey gabled bay windows, breaking through eaves.
C19 mullioned windows, some with transoms. Two storey early C20 wing to right in
vernacular revival manner, with applied timber-framing.
