Farmhouse. C17, altered, C18 and C19. Coursed rubblestone, slated
roof. 3 bays, 2 storeys with dormers. Lobby entry plan with entrance
in front of stack between right hand bays. Left hand gable Stack.
Tripartite C19 ground floor sashes. 6 panel door in readed
architraved doorcase under moulded and dentilled hood on carved
brackets, the outer corners of the hood supported on later turned posts.
1st floor left hand tripartite sash, then 3 sashes of 6 panes, except
over door which is 4 panes wide. 3 2-light dormers. Interior: left
hand ground floor room has spine and cross beams with massive C17
chamfers. Closed string staircase C18 with turned balusters. At
rear 1st floor room for harvest suppers and village functions with
large tripartite east sash. Reeded doorcases. At south east 2
storey stone range beyond rear addition with C17 or early C18 brick
stack.
