Row of 3 cottages or almshouses. Partially C17, altered in C18 when they were
established as almshouses, and again in C19. Coursed and squared ironstone
rubble with brick first storey and plain tiled roof. Each cottage has doorway
to right with chamfered timber lintel, and 2-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned
window to left. In the first storey, c10-20 courses of C18 red brick with
blue headers, then C19 brick. Simple 2-light casement window to each cottage.
C18 profile visible in gable end. Gable and axial stacks. In the centre a
stone records how George Fenwicke (with money left by Catherine Dulson of
Keythorpe) "bought and gave these 3 apartments" for 3 ancient poor women.
