5 yards to south-east of porch of Church of St. John the Baptist. Chest tomb.
Mid - late C18th. Bath stone ashlar. Panelled sides and moulded cornice;
projecting Tuscan columns flank inscribed panels with carved decorative friezes;
end panels have carved foliage decoration and heads. A finely carved example
of the local tradition of chest tombs, contributing to the setting of the church.
