Farmhouse. Mid C17. Rubble; Cotswold stone slate and C20 tiled roof. L-plan
gabled vernacular farmhouse. 2 storeys and attics in 2 steep gables to north
west and north east elevations. Two C20 casement windows to north west
elevation; lean-to on ground floor. Three C20 windows and 2 doors to north
east elevation. Interior: stop chamfered beams; hall fireplace has a heavy
chamfered lintel and chamfered stone jambs; the first floor cellar chamber has a
blocked fireplace with a chamfered 4-centred head; tie and collar beam roof
trusses, butt purlins. (Hall, L. The Rural Houses of North Avon and South
