House. Circa 1815 by John Wing for the Rev. E Williamson. Roof reworked late
C19. Cement rendered, colourwashed to front elevation. Blocks to partly of
coursed limestone rubble. Slate roofs, that to main block being a mansard
with sprocketed eaves. Main block is 2 storey and attics double-pile plan,
with 2-storeyed gabled block and single-storeyed hipped block to W. Main
block S elevation : quoins to corners, first floor sill level string course,
wood modillion eaves cornice. Sash windows with glazing bars, in reveals and
with plain raised surrounds, 2 to ground floor and 3 to first flocr. Central
box dormer with small paired sash windows. Stucco door surround has
vermiculated rustication, impost mouldings, keyblock and modillion cornice.
Surround encloses wooden archivolt and reveals with fielded panelling, wide
door of 3 fielded panels, and semi-circular fanlight with decorative glazing
