Ornamental temple in 'Chinese Gothick' style. c.1749 or earlier. Painted
timber, originally partly gilded. Single-storeyed open octagonal structure,
with 3-stage swept-out pagoda-style roof. 8 slender columns with bands of
painted decoration. Ogee arches, each haunch interrupted by shallow step at
mid-point. Spandrel decoration includes moulded painted flowers. Roof
retains traces of painted decoration.
