Public house, occupying 2 properties. C17 and C18, reworked C19. Colourwashed
roughcast render, that to No. 21 encasing English bond brickwork to ground
floor and timber framing to first floor, that to No. 22 encasing brick. Clay
tile roofs, that to No. 21 steeply pitched. 2 storeys, with irregular
fenestration. No. 21: ground floor has 3 sash windows. (3rd is C20,
replacing original doorway) and rectangular bay, also with sashes. First
floor has 3 2-light casements. Slightly projecting band at first floor level.
No. 22 ground floor doorway is C20 reworking, original one to LH now blocked.
Rectangular bay to RH, also reworked C20. First floor has 2 2-light
casements. All windows have glazing bars. No. 21 has integral stack to LH
gable end, No. 22 has central ridge stack.
