House or farmhouse. Probably C17, remodelled as a cottage
ornee later C19. Roughcast render with stucco hoodmoulds over
the openings; dry slate roof to taller part on the left, steep
asbestos slate roof to right, both roofs with shaped barge
boards; rendered rubble and brick lateral stack with 2 C19
tapered clay pots to front right of centre and truncated end
stack on the left. Single-depth 2-room plan with central
entrance passage, the room on the right the original hall and
probably the lower end on the left converted to a parlour and
this end heightened in the mid C19; shallow extension at rear.
2 storeys; 3-window range, the central window over the porch
and the larger window on the right as gabled dormers breaking
the eaves. Late C19 horned sashes. Central chamfered doorway
with squat 2-centred arch and gabled arch-braced porch hood on
corbels; 4-panel door. 2 windows also with hoodmoulds to
right-hand return.
