Fairly large town house. Mid-late C18. Polychrome rubble walls with segmental brick arches; slate roof with modillion eaves cornice; rendered end stacks. Shallow-depth plan with two rooms flanking a central entrance and stair hall. Three storeys; symmetrical three-window front. Possibly original 12-pane hornless sashes to first floor, those at left and right as paired sashes, otherwise later horned sashes including tripartite sashes with glazing bars to wide ground-floor openings. Central doorway with fluted pilastered doorcase with moulded entablature, three-pane overlight and six-panel door with fielded panels.
INTERIOR: has many original features of interest including dog-leg staircase with turned balusters over a closed string; dado panelling to entrance hall and six-panel door on the left; two-panel doors to second floor and tie-beam roof structure.
