TL 61 SW HIGH EASTER

3/7 Games Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid C16, c.1600 and possibly earlier. Timber framed and plastered
and hipped peg tile roofs. Of 2 storeys with mid C16 jettied crosswing at north
west end with exposed jetty bracket. Wing of c.1600, unjettied at south east
end. Front has lean-to hipped porch and C20 metal small paned casements.
Stacks against flank of earlier crosswing and on ridge line. The north wing has
parlour door head in situ, stop chamfered floor joists, internal wall bracing
and complete window opening. Central block has jowled posts, cambered tie beams
and later floor. Inglenook under ridge line stack. RCHM 19.
