House. Circa 1600, altered in C20. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with hand-
made red clay tiles. 3 bays facing SE, with C17 external stack at right end,
enclosed by 2-storey extension, c.1970. C19/20 external stack at left end, with C20
single-storey lean-to extension beyond. C20 single-storey extension to rear.
2 storeys. 4 window range of C20 casements. C20 door. Pegged and jointed hardwood
frame, mainly concealed by paper. One chamfered binding beam with lamb's tongue
stops, joists renewed in C20. Half-height jowls on jowled posts. Mortices for
arched braces to tiebeams. Roof reported to be formerly thatched, tiled since 1970.
