C16 or earlier house forming an L-plan. Timber framed and plastered of 2 storeys
with gabled crosswing at the north end. Long range hipped at north and extended
south by an industrial timber range of the same height and section. A porch in
the front return of the cross-wing is gabled and has a plaster relief of grapes
and the date 1706 in the gable. All existing windows - modern casements. Roofs
peg-tiled. Inside: south room panelled in pine, fielded and bolection moulded
with timber ceiling cornice and wide oak floorboards. This room and the dog-leg
stair with turned balusters between circa 1680-1740. (RCHM 10).
