C16 house. Timber framed and forming a T-plan of 2 storeys. Front ground storey
a C19 shop-front with central door and 12 pane fixed windows to left and right
all under a flat leaded hood. Rough-cast in panels on first storey with one
pair of 2-pane horned sash windows. Roof peg-tiled with taller rear range containing
former bakery with oven by Messrs Barton and Stearn of Sudbury. (RCHM 8).
