Former Inn, now house. Early C19 with later alterations.
Mostly red brick in Flemish bond. Welsh-slate roof with brick
dog-tooth eaves; brick stacks, at left end and to ridge
between right-hand bays.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range, the right bay wider, with
L-shaped rear wing. Blocked window above door and to 1st floor
on right, the rest with horned 8/8 sashes, all having painted
channelled voussoirs, keystones and sills, that to ground
floor on right with rebuilt brick surround. Central enriched
doorcase with leaded moulded hood, C20 door and 2 stone steps.
Carriage-entrance to right bay has gauged-brick segmental arch
and 2-leaf door, panelled above, planked below. Painted brick
plinth.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: formerly stone masons' premises.
