Pair of houses. Late C18 with minor C20 alterations. Coursed squared gritstone
with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roofs with stone gable end and
central ridge stacks. Stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two storeys,
two bays per cottage. Cottage to east has central flush quoined doorcase with
keystone in lintel and C20 glazed door. To either side, 2-light flush mullion
windows with C20 single pane casements. Above, two similar windows. Western
cottage has similar elevation with central, quoined doorcase with plain lintel
and panelled door. 2-light windows to sides and above have plain sashes or
fixed lights.
