Farmhouse to the
south-west

Farm outbuildings. Late C18, with alterations in 1857. Coursed
rubble coal measures sandstone with slates and stone slates.
North-west elevation. Stepped range with northern part taller.
North range with central ground floor doorway, with massive
quoined surround, deep lintel and planked stable- type door.
Two square taking-in openings to first floor and one first floor
door sized opening, all with plank doors. Gable to south end
with apex reconstructed and dated 1857, incorporating an ashlar
dovecote in the form of a blind gothic arch. Perch platforms
subdivided into six compartments each with two entry holes.
Lower two storey range to south with Welsh slates with stone
slated eaves, and intermediate and south end quoining. Three
first floor taking-in doors, with plain surrounds and lintels.
