Grange Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed rubble coal
measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, quoins, stone gable
stack to east, coped east gable with moulded kneelers and a
plain tiled roof. Two storeys, four bays, off-centre doorway
with quoined surround and massive lintel, and a C20 half glazed
door. 2-light flush mullioned windows to ground and first
floors, except to west of doorway which has been altered to a
casement, beneath a wide inserted lintel. Above doorway, a C18
mullioned and transomed window. Inserted doorway at west end,
where building adjoins farm outbuilding.
