Small detached cottage. Possibly C17 much modified. Rendered rubble, exposed
at gable with stack, shingle roof, formerly thatched. Built off the rock which
is partly visible at foundation level, and set down the hill slope with back
Wall to the lane. 1 1/2 storeys; to the lane are two small deep-set 2-light case-
ments. Upper half-hipped gable with small square stack has single glazing bar
light with extended side-light and a small 2-light casement; lean-to with door.
Lower half-nipped gable has large external stack, rounded to eaves level, square
above; to its left a 2-light casement with transom above a horizontal 3-light
casement. Ripped one storey addition, and outshut to back of main building, not
of special interest.
