Circa early C19 sandstone ashlar cottage in neo-Tudor style. Steeply pitched
patterned roof with stone coped gable ends and low parapet. One storey. Cross
shaped plan with four gabled ends. Projecting stone porch with four-centred
arch attached to south gable which faces entrance driveway to Stoneleigh Abbey.
Square headed stone cross mullion/transom casements with diamond panes and drip
moulds. Narrow slit openings in apex of gables. Rebuilt central brick ridge
chimney stack on original sandstone base.
