Farmhouse. Mid C19. English bond brick; brick stacks and plastered brick
chimneyshafts; slate roof.
Plan: double depth plan farmhouse facing south-west with a front and back room each
side of a central through passage which contains the main stair. The rooms are
heated by gable-end stacks, those to the right (south-east) are projecting. The
principal rooms are those at the front, the service rooms those to rear. 2 storeys.
Exterior: symmetrical 3-window front arranged around a central doorway which
contains a C19 part-glazed 4-panel door and overlight under a gabled hood on curving
timber brackets. The window above is a 12-pane sash; the windows each side are 16-
pane sashes and the ground floor ones have flat brick arches over. The roof is
gable-ended.
Interior: contains a great deal of original joinery detail.
