Vicarage, now an institutional home. Early C19. Red brick finely
jointed, hipped slate roof of low pitch with boarded eaves soffit. A
large 2-storeys symmetrical house facing S with narrow recessed centre,
and shallow projecting panels with windows, to each side of centre,
creating front in 3 separate planes with vertical emphasis. Low
plinth, plat band, and bracketed eaves soffit. 3 windows to 1st floor,
recessed sash windows with 6/6 panes and slightly cambered red rubbed
arches. Central door of 6 moulded panels in glazed screen with
sidelights and reeded band at lock-rail height across sidelights.
2-storeys painted brick extensions to W and N not of special interest.
