GV II

House. Early C18, S part heightened and brick casing to ground floor
early C19. Timber frame, exposed on N gable to road with red brick
infill projecting, roughcast elsewhere. Painted brick to ground floor
with tiled offset below frame. Steep old red tile roof. S part flatter
slate roof. A small building stepping up slope in 2 parts. 1½-storeys
part next road has one window in each floor and entrance all in N gable.
Sidewall chimney on W. Yard gates on E side. 2-storeys S part has
external S gable chimney and small slated S end lean-to. One window on
each floor on E and half-glazed door to right of lower 3-light casement
window with segmental arch. Flush 2-lights casement window to 1st floor.
Flush-box sash window with 6/6 panes on 1st floor front with 4-lights
small-panes casement window and plank door in heavy frame up 2 steps.
Dripboard continuous over door and window. Frame has unjowled posts,
long straight braces, close-spaced studs, collar-and-tie-beam and
clasped-purlin roof.
