House. C17 or earlier, renovated and N wing added in later C20. Timber
frame on brick sill, exposed timbers with plaster panels impressed with
basket-weave pattern, with steep old red tile roofs. A T-shaped house
facing S with 1 1/2-storeys short hall range and lower 2-storeys W
crosswing projecting only to rear. C20 2-storeys N wing not of special
interest. Leaded casement windows (renewed). Entrance into LH side of
crosswing's gable end with a 3-lights casement window to RH and on 1st
floor. Higher hall range has 3-lights casement on ground floor,
single-light window in line with large internal E gable chimney, and
gabled dormer at eaves projecting forward with plastered cove below. The
whole frame leans to LH.
