House, now public house. C17 timber frame. Red brick nogging, painted white. Plain tile roof. Small L-plan block with a large, single-storey c.1970 front extension. Two storeys and attics. C17 ridge chimney stack towards left. Clasped purlin roof exposed on right gable end, and behind this a C17 wing with exposed studwork. On the left front of the range are a C19 gable end and a gabled dormer, both with scalloped bargeboards. Interior has exposed wall and ceiling beams.
