House. Early C19. Timber frame on black stuccoed sill, roughcast with
low pitched slate roof. A 2 storey and cellar, double pile house under a
single pitched roof with overhanging verges and box eaves facing E. 2
red brick chimneys on mid-wall. Symmetrical 3 windows front with flush
box sash windows with dripboards, moulded frames and 8/8 panes. 6-panel
raised and fielded door with reeded surround and corner blocks.
Dripboard on brackets across N end at 1st floor level. 2 Yorkshire
sliding casements above and 2 matching sashes to Ground Floor. French
doors on S end. Stair in rear part serves cellar also. Simple original
doors and joinery. Moulded plank doors. 4 rooms to each floor. A pretty,
picturesque farmhouse.
