House. Late C17, renovated and parallel rear extension early C19 as
keeper's house and store. Timber frame on low plastered sill (higher
at SE corner), dark weatherboarded, with old red tile parallel steep
pitched roofs, the rear narrower and extended down over outshut at NE.
A 2-storeys, 3-cells, internal-chimney plan house, set back from road,
facing S, with lower, narrower parallel rear extension the W part an
open barn or store. Chimney a third from E end and main entrance a third
from W end. S front has 3 3-lights flush casement windows horizontally
divided. 3 similar but deeper windows to ground floor, that in E bay
offset to RH as if for a front entrance on its LH. Plank door in gabled
timber porch with bargeboards. Interior has chamfered cross-beams and
squared joist. E end door into kitchen.
