Barn. Cl7. Timber-frame on a red brick sill, dark
weatherboarded with a half-hipped steep thatched roof. A 3-bay
tall barn facing S with a rear outshot in the middle bay opposite
the double doors. Jowled posts, with tension bracing and
slightly curved braces to tie-beams. Clasped-purlin roof with
inclined queen-struts. Face-halved bladed scarf joint in
wallplate.
