Barn. Early Cl7, altered in early C19. Timber frame on brick
sill, weatherboarded with a steep pitched roof, now slated. A
tall formerly single-aisled, 4-bay, barn facing S. Double doors
in 2nd bay from W. Jowled posts with ogee moulding at chin,
slightly curved heavy braces to tie-beams and arcade plate on N
side. Mid-height rail tennoned in line. Clasped-purlin roof
with collars and raking queen-struts. N aisle rebuilt as wider
lean-to beyond new wall in C19.
