Inn, now a Public House and adjoining garage. Early C18, middle part
altered in late C19. Red brick with steep old red tile roofs. N range
roughcast on N and continued W as timber framed building now garage to
No. 129, may be an older timber framed range, either domestic or stables.
A long irregular 2 storeys T-plan building cut into slope at rear. Faces
E. Middle part has roughcast 1st floor with 2 3-light small pane casement
windows. Segmental arches to 2-light small pane casements to ground
floor, and half-glazed central door. Recessed porch in protruding part
to RH with wooden corner column. Projecting N wing with 2 windows and
large wrought iron bracket for sign. E gable end has 3 steps to 4-panel
flush beaded door, 3-light flush casement to RH under segmental arch and
similar 2-light casement above. N side has external N chimney and an
outshut with its own chimney. Roughcast section has 3-light casement
window to 1st floor.
