House. Later C17, cased in brick and flint in C19, renovated and
extended at lower level to W and NE in C20. Timber frame, 1st floor
roughcast, W gable end plum brick, S front uncoursed knapped flint with
red brick bands vertical and horizontal. Steep red tile roofs. A
2-storeys, 3-bays house facing S, with internal chimney (rebuilt) in E
end of middle bay, and lower extensions to NE and W end. S front has 2
windows to each floor. Flush casement windows with leaded glazing and
segmental arches to ground floor. Entrance into W extension which has
garage double-doors at W end. Bow window on N side. Interior has exposed
inclined queen-posts supporting single clasped-purlin in each roofslope.
