Two houses, now converted to one dwelling. c1600 with mid-C19 and mid-C20
alterations. Timber-framed with brick infill, refronted in painted brick;
plain tiled roof. Three framed bays aligned east/west. Two storeys with
cellar and dentilled eaves cornice to front. Framing: not visible externally
except for part of collar and tie-beam truss with two collars, struts and V-
strut in apex at east gable end. South front elevation: windows are all 3-
light C20 casements with leaded lights; ground floor windows have cambered
heads; main entrance to left of central bay (in probable original through-
passage position) has a C20 part-glazed door; cellar opening to right.
Interior: framing of roof, ends and cross-frames survive; probably four
panels from sill to wall-plate; substantial ceiling beams; ogee-arched door-
head survives in west end wall. Large fireplace to rear of central bay now
demolished. C19 additions at rear.
