House. Early C19 with mid-C20 alterations. Whitened, brick with plain tiled
roof with left end ridge stack and also stack at rear. Two storeys with
dentilled eaves cornice. Three bays; irregular fenestration; windows are
all 3-light casements (two with cambered heads on ground floor); main entrance
between bays one and two has original open pediment and 6-panelled door (the
former pilasters flanking the door had been removed at time of survey, June
1985); also doorway to right with moulded architrave and C20 door; above the
door and the adjacent window is a large timber lintel. Interior not inspected.
The building adjoins The Old Black Boy (qv) to the west side and is conspicuously
situated forming part of a continuous row of houses at the north-east end of
Droitwich Road. Included for group value.
