Farmhouse. Mid-late C18. Red brick in Flemish Bond, plain tile
roof. 2 storeys and attic with wing to rear left and later
infill to rear right; 3 bays. Central part-glazed door in
wooden frame flanked on ground and first floor by segmentally-
arched 3-light windows now with C20 iron casements; segmentally-
arched recess over the door. Dentilled eaves. Upstanding verges
with brick copings and projecting end stacks. Left return: wing
has 2 altered windows each beneath broader segmental arch.
Interior: basket-arched fireplace recesses to ground floor on
right and in rear wing. Original beamed ceilings with twin spine
beams; the date "1760" set out in nailheads on spine beam in
ground floor right room. Stair in rear wing has square newels
and rectangular rods and rises to the attic.
Cast-iron fire baskets in first floor rooms.
