Detached house. Dated 1740. Rubble, thatch roof. 2-room
central-entry plan. 2 storeys, 2 windows; small 2-light
small-pane casements. To centre a plank door, above which is a
panel inscribed AKC(G?) 1740. There are small brick gable
stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
The rear of the cottage is abutted by Manor Cottage (qv), and
this is one of a compact group of early buildings remaining in
this part of the village.
