Detached house. Early C19 possibly encasing an earlier house.
Basement coursed squared and dressed limestone, painted and
rendered brick above basement level. Rectangular plan to main body
which lies at right angles to the High Street, extensions at rear
of main body. Two storeys and basement. Rendered, 3-windowed
facade lit by 12-pane sashes. Tripartite sash upper right. All
windows within plain architraves. Central C19 part-glazed door
with marginal glazing bars and rectangular hall light entered from
verandah extending across facade of main body. Glass-roofed lean-
to with bracketed timber supports. Lattice-work at either end of
verandah. Plain pedimented parapet. Swags either side of
pedimented section. Sash windows (some blocked) with plain
architraves in right-hand return (fronting onto The High Street).
Two-storey bow window at left gable end. Interior not inspected.
