Cottage. C17. Square-panelled timber framing with limestone
rubble and unpainted brick infill, on a limestone rubble plinth;
gable end facing road limestone rubble and weatherboarded gable;
thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching; red brick stack.
Rectangular main body. C20 rendered extension at right angles not
of special interest. 1½ storeys. East front: two C20 two-light
wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars to the ground floor.
C19 plank door within a heavy wooden frame to the left; two C20
two-light eyebrow dormers with glazing bars. West front: two
plain glass windows with diamond-sectioned 'mullions' set into a
projecting sill and lintel in front of the glass. Two eyebrow
dormers with C20 two-light casements with glazing bars. Single
axial stack close to the half-hipped gable end. Interior not
inspected.
