Row of 5 houses. Early Cl9; later additions. Coursed rubble
limestone; ashlar and artificial stone rebuilt chimneys; concrete
tile roof. Central block 3-storey; remainder of row 2-storey.
Additional parallel rear range. Front: 3-window fenestration to
central house, all sashes formerly 12-pane to ground and middle
floors, 6 or 9-pane to upper floor, all glazing bars now missing.
Central blocked Venetian window to middle floor. Central doorway
with C20 gabled porch addition. Ridge-mounted chimney to end
gables. Chamfered mullioned 2-light casement fenestration to
remainder of row, 2-window fenestration to each house with central
doorway. Most doorways with C20 porch additions. Row extended
to right with additional house, this having 3-light casement to
ground floor. Later parallel-roofed range added at rear.
Interiors not inspected. Built as weaver's houses.
