Anglican parish church. Designed by George Madan, the incumbent. 1844. Fine squared
and dressed Cotswold limestone, stone slate roof. Nave, with octagonal bell turret
over east end, south aisle and porch, chancel; all in decorated style, including
wide-spaced ball-flower ornament to cornice, windows 2 or 3-light, east window
4-light, some flamboyant tracery. Nave 5-bay, quadrilobed piers with variegated
floral capitals, double chamfer arches, hammer-beam roof; arch braced roof to
chancel. Floor tiled, alternating diagonal dark brown and white. Octagonal font,
pitch-pine pews, delicate open wood screen. Porch with pointed barrel vault and heavy
transverse rits.
