Yew Tree Cottage
II
Small detached cottage. Probably late C17. Rubble stone, stone
slate roof, stone end stack to left. Single main range of 2
storeys and attic, with rear wing of single storey and attic, and
single storey wing to left with asbestos roof in diamond pattern
and stone end stack raised in brick. One window, paired casements
with timber lintel, larger on ground floor, and in gabled dormer
with stone slate-hung gable. Half-glazed door to tight also with
timber lintel. Right hand return has very small light with large
timber lintel at approximately first floor level to left, and
central attic light, indicating possible existence of staircase.
Fine ornamental wrought iron gate.
