Former semi-detached house, in use as village Reading Room at time
of survey (March 1986). Early C19. Coursed rubble stone, stone
slate roof, stone end stacks with offset and moulded cornice and
similar rear lateral stack. Single range of 2 storeys, with single
storey rear lean-to with large gable, and C20 extension not of
special interest. Three windows, 12-pane sashes set into cambered
head openings, with similar longer windows on ground floor. One
semi-circular headed fixed 12-pane light on first floor of left
hand return. Entrance on rear with 2 doors of 4 recessed panes,
one into rear and one into lean-to section.
