Central house and remains of adjoining house to right, in former
terrace of 3 houses. Early C18. Ashlar-faced on coursed stone
plinth with alternating chamfered quoins. Stone slate roof with
projecting eaves to original central house with coped end verge and
brick end stack to right, stone end stack to left. Slate roof on
single storey remaining of right-hand house. Main section of 2
storeys with rear extension, with two 12-pane sashes in shallow
reveals on each floor, entrance in rear extension. Facade has
been altered from original, having also been a shop by early C20.
Wing to right has small rear extension, very tall plinth
(approximately lm). Twelve-pane sash with thick glazing bars to
right in moulded stone architrave with bull-nosed sill. Original
central stone doorcase with moulded architrave down to plinth
level, pulvinated frieze and moulded cornice. Fully glazed door.
Plate glass shop window to left, originally of C19 with decorative
iron ventilation grille over.
