Barn and stableblocks. Late C16-early C17, C18 and C20. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roofs and red tile roof.
Late C16 - early C17 stableblock at centre of range, barn attached
at north gable end, stables (largely rebuilt C20) at south gable
end. Lean-to on east side of late C16 - C17 stableblock not of
special interest. Late C16 - C17 stableblock; symmetrical, 1½
storey, 3-bay facade with flat-chamfered plinth and central double
plank door within flat-chamfered basket-headed surround. Similar
doorway opposite. Tall rectangular windows with iron bars either
side of door. Flat gable-end coping with roll-cross saddles.
Barn, formerly with hayloft, projecting porch on east with sign
'McCormick Harvesting Machines' on lintel over double door. Double
doors opposite. Ventilation slits. Stables at southern end of
range with access to hayloft via steps up gable end, stable-type
doors in east wall.
Interior of late C16 - early C17 stableblock; 3-bays, possibly
with original collar and tie beam trusses. Cut-out crown on
blocking of pitching window, remaining from the celebration of one
of Queen Victoria's Jubilees. Barn; 4-bays with probably original
trusses with collar and tie beams.
