Detached house. C17 and C20. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone, stone slate roof, stone stacks. Main body rectangular
with gabled C20 porches added to garden and entrance fronts, narrow
rectangular block (largely rebuilt C20) running away right. West
front; with forward facing gable at right. Two storeys and attic
lit by two 2-light C20 dormers with metal casements, leaded panes
and hung tile on sides. Ground and first floors lit by 2 and 3-
light stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods and leaded
lights. C20 studded plank door at front of gabled porch within
basket-headed surround.
