Large barn. Probably C18. Rubble stone, stone slate roof. Large,
nearly central projecting gabled cart entry on west side with
timber lintel and C20 double timber doors, stepped dovecot perches
in triangle layout in gable. Lean-to on either side along whole of
west side, originally as 5-bay animal shelter to right supported on
timber posts, and stone walled lean-to to left with doorway
adjacent to cart entry. Slit vents in north end and on east side.
East side has 2 raking projecting entries, that to right opposing
gabled entry to west. Large pitch hole in south gable and 2
smaller squarish openings below.
Interior of 8 bays, collar and tie beam trusses.
